Pack Water Bottle
Is it legal for me to pack alcohol in my suitcase if im underage?
So I’m a Canadian restident, 18 years old and im planning to go to Italy and Greece.
Would it be illegal for me to pack a water bottle of alcohol into my bag since I am under the legal canadian drinking age, or would it bring up other problems.
No one who would open your checked suitcase would know if you were 6 or 60. My concern would be that the bottle would break if there was a depressurization so I would be sure to place it in a gallon size zip lock bag.
The other problem may be that they will ask if you have anything flammable in your luggage and alcohol certainly is. If this question makes you nervous and they notice it, they may ask you to open your case. You will not be able to carry that much on board with you so I suspect you would be better off simply buying it there – although you may not find the same brand or it will be very expensive.
