How long does it take AFS to accept you?
I am applying for 09/10 summer departure for a year in Brazil… I sent in my application last week. When can I reasonably hope for a response?
If you mailed it to the national office, several weeks at least. If you turned it into a local representative, probably quite soon.

what do i do about this?
today my son came home with Shoes which wernt his (size 3 when he is a 5) trousers which were to short for him, underwear which was far far far far far to small for him, socks which didnt fit him. He said his clothes got stolen so the school gave him they clothes. But his brother said he peed himself and pood himself. But he admited that but he sayed that his shoes and socks were stolen at p.e and he was hit when changing for his socks.

Poor lad was probably so embarrassed about what happened that he possibly made up the story about the clothes being stolen and if you approach the subject tactfully and tell him no matter what he tells you, you will not be angry he might tell you what happened and where his clothes are. I would also contact the school asap to discuss the matter so that if there is a problem at school you can get it sorted.

Sling Body
I have painful scoliosis and just had a baby, what baby body carrier should I get?
One that works for bad backs. I’ve tried several from Infantino and they are great but still strain me. I have not tried the Native type Slings yet. If you have a bad back and know first hand what I should try please respond. Not carrying my baby doesn’t seem like an option. lol
The Maya wrap is supposed to help ease back strain because the material that goes over the back really covers alot of your back.
You could also check out the Ergo baby carrier for when your child is older because it’s a back pack.
I have both and although I do not suffer from scolisosis I have found both of them to not strain my back.
